Adam Field Workshop Retreat June 9-13, 2019
NATURE TRADITION: CULTIVATING INSPIRATIONS IN CLAY
In this workshop, you will learn the art of carving pottery. Adam will teach us skills for mapping out and carving geometric patterns in clay and assist with skills and confidence to create and decorate work in our own voice. Expect discussions about studio practice, aesthetics, materials and ceramic history for the studio potter.
Accomodations:
4 nights in a shared bunk-room accommodation. Please visit the link or our air bnb, so you can get a feel for our housing; it's rustic but super sweet, kind of like summer camp for adults. Please don't book your room on Airbnb; we'll take care of that once you've paid for the workshop.
We provide bedding, towels, toiletries, if needed, a full kitchen set-up with pots and pans, refrigerator, and in-kitchen dining area.
You are responsible for your meals. Please bring whatever you need to make your stay comfortable. There is a standard refrigerator in the shared kitchen. Note we are about 4 miles from the nearest convenient store. We recommend a stop at the market before your arrival.
Please call or write with questions about the workshop.
