I was fortunate to fire the Sensei Masakazu Kusakabe designed Sasukenei kiln at Cerdeira Artist retreat in Lousá, Portugal last year. This beautiful glaze was given to students by Marc Lancet who partnered with Masakazu to design this singular kiln. Ash glaze made from trees on our land.
